Ms. Vazquez

Ms. Vazquez (English Language Learners)

Darlene was born and raised in Miami, FL. She is both bilingual and multi-cultural. She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology from Carlos Albizu University and earned her Master’s Degree in Psychology with a major in School Counseling distinction. She has been in the field of school counseling since 2015. Darlene works with the incoming international student population at South Fort Myers High School.

Mrs. Roback

Ms. Roback (A - G)

Winter Roback grew up in Northern Idaho and received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Child Development from the University of Idaho and earned her Master’s Degree in School Counseling. After graduation, Winter decided she was tired of all the cold and snow, and moved to Fort Myers and has been working as a school counselor since 2010. Winter works with the AP Capstone program and coordinates the AP testing.

Mrs. Gorman

Mrs. Gorman (H - O)

Melissa Gorman received a degree in Spanish and Secondary Education from the University of Mary Washington and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University. This is her third year as a school counselor and her second year here at South. Melissa is the head of the Counseling Department and works with students interested in playing sports and being recruited in college. She makes sure they are registered with NCAA and that they are taking the correct classes to qualify them to play.

Ms. Tracy

Ms. Tracy (P - Z)

Michelle was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She started her Bachelor’s in Psychology at the University of Miami and finished it here in Fort Myers at Barry University. She has her Master’s in School Counseling from Argosy University in Sarasota. She has worked in education for over 20 years. Michelle worked with underrepresented populations at FSW (formerly Edison State College) to be successful not only at the college level, but to move on to earn their Bachelor’s and Graduate degrees as well. In 2014, she decided to move to the high school leve with the idea that she could help students before they moved onto college. Michelle tracks college admissions and scholarships offered, works diligently on updating current scholarships, informing seniors of these important scholarship opportunities and signing students up for Bright Futures Scholarships.

 Lincolnhol-2-c

Mrs. Emily Lincolnhol (Career Specialist)

Emily was born and raised in Fort Myers, FL. She has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in Hospitality & Tourism and offers a wide variety of experience in many industries. She specializes in helping students with applying for colleges and scholarships, filling out their FAFSA, writing college essays and anything to do with the college experience. She also helps students with resume building, interviews, job seeking and making the connection from the classroom to the real world. This is her second year at South Fort Myers High!
